Contraceptive failure or having unprotected sex can be a stressful situation. The risk of pregnancy can be reduced by taking the emergency contraceptive pill (ECP)  also known as the Morning After Pill or Plan B.

The ECP is most effective when taken within 24 hours. As getting to the Doctor is not always possible or practical, our accredited pharmacists in our pharmacy are available to provide you with a consultation and are able to dispense the ECP / morning after pill if it is appropriate for you.

Appointments are not required. A consultation fee may apply for this service.  We offer a private consulting room if preferred. We are conveniently located centrally in the main street of Howick.
